La I:E. San Juan macias N° 5097 del Callao
Fue creado el 25 de marzo de 1991, mediante la R.D. Nº 198 USE 16 – Callao, funcionando inicialmente con solo 3 aulas.
En 1995, en un concurso de Directores al nivel nacional nombran como director titular de la I.E. al Prof. HERMES ARTURO SALAZAR RIOS.
En 1996, egreso la primera promoción de nivel secundario.
Por acuerdo unánime de profesores, DIrectivos de APAFA, nuestra I.E. se le pone el nombre de “SAN JUAN MACÍAS” en honor al Beato Dominico.

En 1997, se gestiona y gracias a Cordelica construye 3 aulas mas implementado los ambientes: sala de computo, laboratorio y servicios de agua permanente con tanque elevado.
En el 2005, se concluye con el proyecto de ampliacion y rehabilitacion general de la I.E. que consta de 9 aulas más.
En el año 2007, en los concursos organizados por el Ministerio de Educación a nivel nacional nuestros alumnos participaron con éxito.
En el aspecto institucional realizamos el exitoso concurso de danza, convocado a toda la comunidad, y en el aspecto administrativo se logró la adquisición de un proyector multimedia.
En el 2008, nuestro colegio obtuvo el segundo lugar en futbol a nivel regional.
